It is now over 25 years since the significance of Epichloë and Neotyphodium endophytes was discovered with tall fescue in the USA and with ryegrass in New Zealand. Since that time a tremendous amount of research has taken place around the world. This has led to a better understanding of the risks and benefits of endophytes in grasses and to a number of successful endophyte/grass combinations for commercial use. Today this field attracts researchers from a wide range of disciplines as it impacts on so many aspects of nature and on our economic wellbeing. The challenges provided by endophyte interactions encompass such diverse fields as the plant, microbial and animal sciences, biochemistry, turf science, ecosystem ecology, chemistry, microbiology, evolutionary sciences, biotechnology and many more. This conference will be an opportunity for researchers from around the world to come together to share their knowledge with each other. ![]() ![]()
