Fodder trees for drought

As farmers recover from the drought and reassess their farms ongoing resilience it is an opportunity to consider a variety of options. One that has been rsearched in the past and is often forgotten about until feed supply is critical is the use of trees as supplementary fodder.

NZGA publised a Research and Practice series called 'Using Trees on Farms' which goes through the benefits of trees, growing them and use as supplementary feed. The cost is $10 to members and $15 to non members
